Working on recording and mixing new Fursaxa material. It might be back to the four track since Greg Weeks no longer has his recording studio. Helena and I also have finished recording a new Anahita album. Stayed tuned for more info on that.

The album that I last refered to in the 8/27/09 update has been out for a year now. Why am I just letting you know now? I have been learning how to update my website and I guess being the antiquated crab that I am, it takes me awhile to learn these modern things. But yes, it is called Mycorrhizae Realm and if you can't find it in your local record store you can order it from me. So stay tuned for more frequent updates!!

Happy birthday Dad AND Alice Coltrane. I ditched the 4 track, and recently recorded a studio album with Greg Weeks at Hexham Head, which features Mary Lattimore on harp and Helena Espvall on cello. It will be coming out on ATP records by the end of this year. Stay tuned for official release date.....

I have 2 new releases to announce. The first is the Fursaxa "Kobold Moon" CD released on my own Sylph label. For this release I am very excited to be collaborating with the Belgian artist Alain Valet. Each cover is done by hand and he also designed the inserts. These are limited to 500 copies.

The next release is a Tau Emerald CD. It is a collaboration with friend Sharron Kraus. The name of the CD is Travellers Two and was recently released on Important Records.

I should have both listed on the merch page soon but until then you can contact me if you want to order anything.

It's been awhile since I've updated the site. so there's alot to report. Actually, I think this might be the first one of 2007.....hmmmm......

There are no more copies of the Mandrake LP available. However, you can order copies of Alone in the Dark Wood from me on LP or CD. I will post them in the merch section soon, but if you want any in the meantime, just e-mail me.

The Sacramento label, Mt. St. Mtn., just released my first ever 7" ep in July. It's called "Maidenstone" and will also be available for sale soon in the merch section.

The Sylph label is still awaiting its first release.....i am hoping it will be done by the end of this year. The first CD will be a Fursaxa release called "Kobold Moon" and feature beautiful artwork by the Belgian artist Alain Valet.

A new Anahita LP/CD is in the works and will be coming out on the Belgian label Gipsy Spinx.

A new Tau Emerald CD is finished and will be released by Important Records in January of 2008.

'Amulet' was reissued on CD by the Last Visible Dog label in November of 2005. It contains a few tracks from the 'Cult from Moon Mountain' as well as all the songs from Amulet. I will have copies of it for sale on the Merchandise page.

I will be touring with Jack Rose the beginning of April as well as playing the Terrastock Festival in Providence, R.I. (April 21-23rd).

A new fursaxa cd 'Lepidoptera' was just released in August of 2005 by the UK label ATP. I am also planning to do some touring in the UK in November with my ATP labelmate Alexander Tucker and with Sharron Kraus. I will post the dates in the 'shows' section as soon as they are all confirmed. I also have a couple of tracks on some new compilation CDs. One is on 'The Invisible
Pyramid' a Last Visible Dog compilation, and the other is on the 'Honeymoon Music Compilation'. As for merchandise, 'Mandrake' is the only thing that will be available right now."Amulet' and 'The Cult from Moon Mountain" will no longer be available as Cdr-s, because Chris Moon of the Last Visible Dog label is going to release 'Amulet' and a few tracks from 'The Cult...' on CD. It should be available for purchase in a couple of months.

I will be heading out on a tour of the US with the Spires that in the Sunset Rise starting July 10th. Please check the shows page for dates. And I won't be able to send merchandise out while I am away, so please don't order anything. My new cd 'Lepidoptera' has been delayed a bit, but it should be out by next week. Thanks!

I am back in the US after a few months abroad, and will be able to take orders for merchandise after June 1st. 'Amulet' will be available to order on the website then, but there are no more copies of 'Trobairitz are here from Venus'. Also, there has been a release date of June 20th set for my new cd 'Lepidoptera', more on that soon....

I have a new tour cdr 'Amulet' which I unfortunately cannot offer on the website right now because I am heading back to Europe again to play a few festivals. In March I will be playing at the Femmes Festival in Hasselt, Belgium, and in April I will be playing at the Subcurrent Festival in Glasgow. Check the section for more info.

If you would like to get a copy of Amulet there will be plenty in stock at Eclipse Records (in the US) and Volcanic Tongue (in the UK).

There are also some other new releases on the horizon. I am very proud to be part of 'Ye shall know the roots by its fruits', a 3 LP compilation featuring Six Organs of Admittance, Jack Rose, MV, EE, and CC, Dredd Foole, and Joshua Burkett with Kemialliset Ystavat, which is a joint Eclipse/Time Lag release. Of course copies can be obtained through either of those sites. And look for an new full length Fursaxa album on the All Tomorrow's Parties label this spring.

Eclipse Records has just released a vinyl only re-issue of the Acid Mothers Temple cd Mandrake. If you would like a copy, it will be available on the website soon, or you can order a copy from Eclipse Records.

There is a new Fursaxa LP that is going to be released on Time-Lag Records called "Madrigals in Duos". There have been some technical difficulties, but it should be ready soon..... I also hope to be part of Vol. 12 for the Jewelled Antler Library. The library is a 12 volume set of 3" cd-r's. Each volume has about 20 minutes of music with the contents ranging from field recordings to improv to strange folk music.
